Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since she was as a teenager, the singer has performed in traditional and popular music. Her musical interests are also extending to different genres like hip-hop and soul. Pepe Habichuela is a flamenco guitarist of great talent, described her voice by saying it was sweet and had an old-fashioned sound. El Mal Querer is her new album released in 2018, which was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album in 2017 her album was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as the Grammy. In 2021, the single La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami was her third studio album, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry, James Blake and other artists. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to perform on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first woman ever to receive both of these awards.
